"This paper proposes a reading of Bruno Latour's work by inscribing his thought within a ""neomonadological"" tradition. The specificity of this approach consists in simultaneously detaching the subject from anthropological questions and nature from the idea of an innate substance. In short: such a philosophy calls for a pluralistic conception of nature made of various levels of human and non-human subjectivities."
L’ambition de cet article est de proposer une lecture de l’œuvre de B. Latour en l’inscrivant dans un héritage que nous qualifierons de « néomonadologique ». La caractéristique principale d’une telle approche est qu’elle tente de dégager simultanément la question du sujet de toute anthropologie et la question de la nature de toute substantialité propre. C’est à une conception pluraliste de la nature, faite de niveaux de subjectivités – humaines et non-humaines –, qu’une telle philosophie en appelle.
