¡Estamos obligados a buscar el desarrollo sustentable! No sólo por las normas nacionales e internacionales que nos rigen, sino por el futuro que nos demanda un mayor compromiso con la sociedad, la educación, la economía, el gobierno y, sobre todo, nuestros hijos. Por ello, debemos buscar que los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje que se desarrollan en la Educación Superior, promuevan la calidad y competitividad a través de un ejercicio profesional que genere un impacto a favor del desarrollo sustentable a fin de subsanar los problemas de contaminación del aire, del agua, del suelo y, así mismo, problemas de desempleo y de inseguridad social que a últimas fechas se han venido acentuando. En este sentido y a manera de propuesta para otros programas educativos, se presenta la investigación para tesis doctoral de corte cuantitativo específicamente descriptivo que se realizó al programa de estudios del ingeniero industrial, de la Universidad Estatal de Sonora (UES), reconociendo 78 referentes de desarrollo sustentable sobre conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes de sus egresados y sus competencias en relación con la formación sustentable.
We are forced to seek sustainable development! Not only by national and international regulations that govern us, but for the future that we demand a greater commitment to the society, education, the economy, the government and especially our children. For this reason, we must find that the teaching and learning processes that are developed in the Higher Education, promote the quality and competitiveness through a professional exercise that generates an impact in favor of sustainable development in order to address the problems of pollution of air, water, soil and, likewise, problems of unemployment and social insecurity than to latest dates have been widening. In this regard and a proposal for other educational programs, presents the research for doctoral dissertation by court specifically quantitative descriptive which took place in the program of studies of the industrial engineer, from the State University of Sonora (UES), recognizing 78 relating to sustainable development on the knowledge, skills and attitudes of its graduates and its responsibilities in relation to the sustainable training.
