  The Primary objective of this paper is to research a bibliography of works which deal with development strategies, specifically eco-development. This is in order to examine the models of development which are not concerned with strategies of sustainability. The results of this analysis will show that the present development strategies do not meet the necessities and demands of nature. This is a result of the fact that the current models of development do not reflect the relationship between man and his environment.

  Este trabalho objetiva resgatar uma revisão bibliográfica que contemple estratégias desenvolvimentistas voltadas ao eco-desenvolvimento. Teve também como objetivo analisar e questionar os modelos de desenvolvimento não concernentes com as estratégias de sustentabilidade. Os resultados dessa pesquisa bibliográfica mostraram que as estratégias de desenvolvimento vigentes não contemplam as necessidades e exigências da natureza.
