This study aims to identify fractures, a term used by Greimas (2002) and small crises, adjacency coined by Gumbrecht (2006) in the scenes of the movie "Behind the Sun" by Walter Salles. The work is divided into two parts: the first exposure we have the notion of fractures and small crises; and second scenes are identified film showing such concepts. The methodology used was the filmic analysis as the narrative elements and imagery of the work frames. The results show the periods that occur breaks and fractures where the characters of the work unfold aesthetic events in a backwoods aridity scenario - in the broad and strict sense.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar as fraturas, um termo utilizado por Greimas (2002) e as pequenas crises, adjacência cunhado por Gumbrecht (2006) nas cenas do filme “Abril Despedaçado”, de Walter Salles. O trabalho está dividido em duas partes: na primeira temos a exposição da noção de fraturas e pequenas crises; e na segunda são identificadas cenas do filme que mostrem tais conceitos. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise fílmica quanto aos elementos de narrativa e imagética de frames da obra. Os resultados evidenciam os períodos em que acontecem as rupturas e fraturas onde os personagens da obra desvelam acontecimentos estéticos num cenário de aridez sertaneja – em lato e stricto sensu
