No presente artigo, abordar-se-á o papel da linguagem no desenvolvimento humano a partir da perspectiva histórico-cultural. Será discutida a relação que se estabelece entre pensamento e linguagem e a conseqüente formação da consciência. Estabelecer-se-á a especificidade da linguagem escrita em sua complexificação, como o exemplo de um conceito científico, sob o ângulo dos pressupostos de Luria e Vygotsky. Por último, far-se-ão algumas considerações sobre a linguagem como constitutiva do processo de humanização,ou seja, são relações que o ser humano trava com a natureza no processo de trabalho.
This article will approach the role of approach the role of language in human development in a historical and cultural perspective. I will discuss the established relationship between thought and language, and the consequent formation of conciousness. The work will establish the specificity concept, under the view of Luria and Vygotsky. Finally, there will be some considerations about the language as it constitutes the process of humanization that is, as it comes from relationships which the human being has with the natura of the work process.
