La forma de utilizar los archivos se ha modificado. Antes el usuario pedía la información y de manera pasiva esperaba a que el archiver@ le hiciese llegar la documentación para que la estudiase y tomase sus notas. Ahora, el rol de archivos, archiver@s y usuari@s se ha visto modificado al igual que el proceso de informar. Se presenta una exposición de los paradigmas a la recuperación de la información, centrándonos en los paradigmas físico y cognitivo desde el punto de vista de las Ciencias de la Documentación para su posible aplicación en el contexto de los archivos.
The way of using the archive has been modified. In the past, the user used to ask for the information and, in a passive way, he/she waited for the archivist obtain the information and then study it and take some notes. Nowadays, the role of archives, archivists and users has been modified, as well as the reporting process. Here is presented an exposition of the paradigm for the recovery of the information, centrated in the physic and cognitive paradigms from the point of view of the Documentation Science for its possible application in the context of the archives.
