En este artículo se hace un llamamiento al activismo en los ámbitos social y político a nivel micro, meso y macro. El foco se centra en la actividad en las instituciones formales de educación, exhortando a los maestros, educadores y trabajadores culturales a ser "educadores críticos", "pedagogos revolucionarios críticos", activistas marxistas, dentro y fuera de la educación oficial. El artículo presenta propuestas en los siguientes ámbitos: Pedagogía, Currículo, Organización del alumnado y Control de la educación, enfatizando ¿qué es lo específicamente marxista?en estas propuestas. Para ello, se intenta situar tales propuestas dentro de la teoría y la práctica marxista.
This article calls for activism within micro-, meso- and macro levels social and political arenas. The focus is on activity within formal educational institutions, calling for teachers and education and cultural workers to be "Critical Educators", "Revolutionary Critical Pedagogues", Marxist activists, within and outside official education. The article sets out proposals re Pedagogy, Curriculum, The Organisation of Students, and the Control of Education, and asks questions such as "What is specifically Marxist" about these proposals. I seek to locate such proposals within Marxist theory and practice.
