La oportunidad de valorizar al territorio, permite pensar formas de articulación entre diferentes sitios representativos del mismo. El enlace de diferentes formas del patrimonio minero y geológico puede plasmarse en principios y acciones de conservación y recreación. Desde estas bases se sustenta el presente trabajo, que pretende elaborar el primer diagnóstico de los sitios de interés geomineros del sistema serrano de Tandilia (Tandil, Olavarría y Benito Juárez, Argentina). Para esto la metodología empleada es un inventario del patrimonio geominero y su posterior valoración, a través de un Índice de Patrimonio Geológico Minero (IPGM), y su complemento con los Índices de Uso Potencial (IUP) y el Índice de Amenaza (IA). Tandilia posee diferentes testimonios geológicos de paisajes graníticos y sedimentarios, de formas de extracción y producción minera e industrial asociada que deben ser conservados y aprovechados socialmente.
An opportunity to valorise the territory, allows to think forms of articulation between different sites representative of the same. The different forms of mining and geological heritage link can be translated into principles and actions of conservation and recreation. From these bases is supported this work, which aims to make the first diagnosis of the places of interest geominig of hill system Tandilia (Tandil, Olavarria and Benito Juárez, Argentina). For this, the methodology used is an inventory of geomining heritage and their subsequent assessment, through an index of mining geological heritage (IPGM), and its complement with the Indices of potential use (IUP) and the threat index (AI). Tandilia has different geological testimonies of granitic and sedimentary landscapes, forms of extraction and mining and industrial production associate that must be preserved and used socially.
