The aim of this text is to think how poetry promotes the most original way of language, bringing to the surface the abyss of its foundation. Unlike public speeches that show everything they say in an ordinary way, poetry always seeks to speak considering the origin of what is said, taking care of saying what it says as if it were the first time poetry is an inaugural speech that shows the extraordinary sense of beings and thus makes us think. In speaking in an original way what it says, poetry restores the proper meaning of words, saving the language of misery and disinterest in its public and habitual use.
O propósito deste texto é pensar como a poesia promove o modo mais original da linguagem, trazendo à tona o abismo de seu fundamento. Ao contrário dos discursos públicos que mostram tudo que dizem de modo ordinário, a poesia busca sempre falar considerando a origem do que é dito, cuidando de dizer o que diz como se fosse a primeira vez – poesia é uma fala inaugural que mostra o sentido extraordinário dos entes e, assim, nos faz pensar. Ao falar de um modo original o que diz, a poesia restitui o sentido mais próprio das palavras, salvando a linguagem da miséria e desinteresse de seu uso público e habitual.
