Siguiendo el mito de Prometeo que aparece en el Protágoras de Platón y según el cual el don de los hombres está relacionado con el robo del fuego divino y la posterior concesión de la justicia y el pudor por parte de Zeus, se podría afirmar que lo más característico de lo humano es la capacidad técnica. La ciencia y la técnica son la base de la cultura, pero al mismo tiempo la cultura y la política son los límites de lo técnico y producen civilización. Este artículo analiza la relación hombre/técnica/tecnología a partir la tesis de Lyotard según la cual esta conjunción razón-técnica es lo menos humano y supone una amenaza a la libertad, y propone una nueva lectura que da cuenta de la relación entre el hombre y el sistema.
According to Prometeos myth that appears in the Protagoras of Plato, the gift of the men is related to the theft of the divine fire and the later grant of the justice and the shame becoming of Zeus, it could be affirmed that the most typical of the human thing is the capacity of technique. The science and the technique are the base of the culture, but at the same time the culture and the politics are the limits of technique, and they produce civilization. This article analyzes the relation between man/technology/technique, from Lyotard's thesis according to which this conjunction reason - technology is the least part of human thing and supposes a threat to the freedom. He proposes a new reading that realizes of the relation between the man and the system.
