Las innovaciones tecnológicas han revolucionado la forma de comunicarse, interactuar y compartir información. Por otra parte, el movimiento por el acceso abierto, persigue la difusión libre y gratuita de la información científica, y extiende esta filosofía al material educativo. Si bien existe una gran variedad de recursos educativos almacenados en repositorios de acceso gratuito, el “acceso a todos” al conocimiento se logra a través del cumplimiento de aspectos de accesibilidad. Por esta razón, este trabajo aborda las características de un recurso accesible y a la vez cumpla con las características inherentes de OER (abierto, educativo, objeto/recurso).
Technological innovations have revolutionized the way people communicate, interact and share information. Moreover, the movement for open access, pursues open and free dissemination of scientific information and extends this philosophy to educational material. While there is a variety of educational resources stored in repositories of free access, “access for all” to the knowledge is achieved through compliance with accessibility issues. This has made, this paper discusses the characteristics of an accessible resource and also meets the inherent characteristics of OER (open, education, object/resource).
