El presente artículo pretende discutir las diversas implicaciones de la noción de deber en relación con los nuevos derechos surgidos en torno al debate existente entre los diferentes defensores y detractores de la llamada eugenesia liberal. El objetivo al cual se encuentra dirigido este ensayo consiste en la introducción crítica de la perspectiva de los deberes, con la finalidad de superar la antropología del individualismo posesivo, la cual constituye el sustrato ideológico de la mayoría de las partes implicadas en el nuevo debate eugenésico, así como posibilitar una reflexión política sobre aquellas tecnologías de carácter eugenésico y en general, capaces de modificar la actual condición humana
This article aims to discuss the various implications of the concept of duty in connection with the new rights arising around the existing debate between different supporters and opponents of the so-called liberal eugenics. The goal to which is directed this essay is the critical introduction of the perspective of duties, in order to overcome the anthropology of possessive individualism, which is the ideological background for most of the involved parts in the new eugenics discussion, and also enable a political reflection on technologies with eugenic applications and generally, able to change the current human condition.
