Este artículo pretende exponer cómo la filosofía de Albert Camus combina política y ontología. Partiendo de la diferencia que el autor presenta en El hombre rebelde entre totalidad y unidad, emergen dos formas opuestas de hacer frente a lo absurdo. La crítica de los totalitarismos aparece entonces bajo un ángulo novedoso:
estos regímenes no están tan equivocados sobre el diagnóstico que hacen de la modernidad, es más, son producto de ella
This article pretends to show how philosophy of Albert Camus adds together political theory and ontology. Starting with the distinction, presented in The rebel, between totality and unity, two contrary ways to answer the absurd come out. The critic of the totalitarianisms appears from a new perspective: these regimes are not totally in wrong in their diagnostic about modernity; moreover, they are pure products of it.
