  • The article discusses the role of propaganda and censorship in North Korean government. Topics discussed include propaganda and censorship in the state-run media organizations of China and Russia, variation in the mechanisms and effectiveness of propaganda and censorship, and conflation between entertainment and political propaganda in the People's Republic from 1949 to 1976 as per Harvard University Associate Professor Jie Li.
