El presente ensayo indaga, en principio, la noción de “aplicación” en Hans-Georg Gadamer, para quien la “aplicación” realiza el ejercicio hermenéutico definitivo por el que se alcanza la comprensión de aquello que ha reclamado observación, cálculo, inferencia e interpretación. La noción de “aplicación” es llevada a continuación al plano de reformulación y precisión que realiza Paul Ricoeur en el concepto de “apropiación”. El “mundo del texto” que se dispone hermenéuticamente a través del acto de la lectura da cuenta de la comprensión, afectación y “apropiación” llevadas a cabo en el “mundo del lector”.
This essay initially explores the notion of “application” in Hans-Georg Gadamer, for whom “application” is the ultimate hermeneutical exercise, which is reached by an understanding of what observation has claimed, calculated, inference and interpretation. The notion of “application” is carried below the plane of reformulation and accuracy that Paul Ricoeur makes in his concept of “appropriation”. The “world of the text” hermeneutically disposed is available through the act of reading, comprehension, involvement and “ownership” carried out in the “world of the reader”.
