El presente trabajo indaga sobre el papel que han ocupado los archivos, depósitos documentales, recursos digitales y compilaciones impresas, en los avances y retrocesos de los estudios coloniales en Colombia. Todo en aras de mostrar los problemas y alternativas presentes en las actividades de búsqueda y recolección documental en el marco de la investigación histórica.
Documentary sources and digital resources for the study of the colonial period in Colombia in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries This work investigates the role played by archives, document repositories, digital resources and print compilations in the advancement, and the set-backs, in colonial studies in Colombia. In doing so it reveals both the problems and the alternatives inherent in the activities of document search and retrieval in the context of historical research.
