This article describes the stages of implementation, presentation and operation of UniVerSe (Universityof Verona Search) – an integrated system for searching bibliographic resources used at the University of Verona since May 2011. UniVerSe is a discovery tool that, through a unique interface, allows users to explore the resources of the University catalogue, online journals and a central index that includes bibliographic information from a vast number of scientific and academic databases. Additionally, once bibliographic information has been retrieved, the link resolver provides direct access to the full text.
