Este artículo pretende analizar en la obra de Rawls el concepto de responsabilidad moral, aunque el autor norteamericano no dedica un apartado específico de su obra al tema. Es posible articular dicho concepto a partir de dos ideas fundamentales de su teoría: la noción de persona, (que hunde sus raíces en la filosofía moral kantiana) y la idea de cooperación social. Se mostrará cómo el planteamiento de Rawls permite hablar de un sentido de responsabilidad frente a las generaciones futuras. Finalmente, se Tratará de plantear algunas limitaciones o inconvenientes que presenta la idea de responsabilidad que se desprende de la propuesta de Rawls.
This paper aims to analyze the moral responsibility conception in the John Rawls work; even the American author does not bring any specific role about his work to the subject. Is possible to articulate this conception in base of two fundamental ideas about his theory; the person conception (whose roots are in the Kantian moral philosophy) and the social cooperation idea. Can be shown how the Rawls approach allows speaking in a responsibility sense in front of the future generations. Finally, it will seek to raise some limitations or a disadvantage that performs the responsibility idea which become detached of the Rawls proposal
