• An interview with Fabrizio Tonello, journalist and professor at University of Padova, Department of Political Science. Tonello is author of a pamphlet, L'età dell'ignoranza (i.e. The Age of Ignorance), where the contradictions of the so-called "information society" are strongly remarked: in particular Tonello indicates the widespread anti-intellectualism fostered by commercial TV networks, the degradation of culture, the superficiality of journalism as causes of a dangerous weakening of western democracies.

  The conversation touches the themes, besides, as usual, literaty interests and reading attitudes of the interviewed.
