The three articles (first part of a six-article series) are focused on the communication strategies of the new Pistoia Public Library (San Giorgio Library), opened in 2007.
The authors (the director of the library, the senior librarian and the manager of a communication agency) show the secret links among internal communication, advocacy plans, sign system, web communication as units of a general plan devoted to strengthen the role of the public library as a "common good" of local community.
