After nearly twenty years of participating in the Federal Depository Library Program as a selective depository library, Suffolk University Law Library chose to leave the program. The authors examine the rationales behind the decision to leave, including a balancing of the expense of participating in the program versus the costs of replacing materials upon leaving the program.
They also discuss the process followed, with individual accounts of the authors personal experiences. A selective annotated bibliography is appended.
