The incorporation of technology in production systems facilitates the relocation of workers and allow the worker´s labor without having to be physically located at the company´s building. With this in mind it seems reasonable to consider that, thanks to new technologies, the �teleworking� has new fields of activity, very different of handmade working traditional areas. It can be said that productive changes have taken place in the XXI century and modernization of business structures are possibly requiring an update of the concept of �teleworker�. This study deals with those practical consequences that such an update would entail.
