    El artículo tiene como objetivo ofrecer un panorama de los problemas que enfrenta la motivación de las resolucionesjudiciales. Así, se intenta responder básicamente a tres cuestiones: ¿qué se motiva?, ¿qué significa motivar dado el rol de la función judicial? Y, derivado de ellas, ¿cuáles son las exigencias para una correcta motivación?

    The article aims to provide an overview of the problems facing the justification ofjudicial decisions. Basically it attempts to answer three questions:

    1. What is the justification? 2. What does it mean tojustify given the role of thejudiciary? 3. Derived from the previous two questions, what are the requirements for a sound justification?
