Durante los años 1985 y 1986, los habitantes de la localidad de Cuartel V, Partido de Moreno, Pcia. de Buenos Aires, reclamaban mayor frecuencia y eficiencia del servicio de transporte público de pasajeros. Como este reclamo por el derecho a la movilidad urbana fue desoído reiteradamente, los vecinos resolvieron crear su propio servicio de transporte, constituyendo el 1º de mayo de 1990 la ASOCIACIÓN MUTUAL EL COLMENAR (AMEC). Esta Asociación contribuyó a lograr: la mejora de los flujos de bienes y personas entre Cuartel V y Moreno Centro; la disminución de las diferencias en la ocupación del espacio de Cuartel V y, un control comunitario del precio y calidad del servicio de transporte público en Moreno. Para ello la AMEC ha necesitado consolidarse en el tiempo, manteniendo la viabilidad económica y fortaleciendo a la sociedad civil. El trabajo de fortalecimiento, que produce empoderamiento a través de renovadas iniciativas comunitarias, incluye la difusión de la experiencia de mutualismo en el ámbito educativo formal y no formal, para afianzar y acrecentar la membresía de la organización. En este artículo se dará cuenta de la construcción de una propuesta para la reflexión áulica sobre la experiencia de la AMEC, para alumnos de escuela secundaria.
During the years 1985 and 1986, the inhabitants of the town of Cuartel V, Partido de Moreno, Buenos Aires Province, called for increased frequency and efficiency of public transport passengers. As this claim for the right to urban mobility was repeatedly ignored, the residents decided to create their own transport services, being on 1 May 1990 the Asociación Mutual El Colmenar (AMEC). This partnership contributes to achieving: improving the flow of goods and people between headquarters and Moreno Centro, reduction of differences in the occupation of headquarters space Cuartel V and a community control over the price and quality of public transport service Moreno. This has required the AMEC consolidated over time, maintaining the economic viability and strengthening civil society. The work of building, producing renewed empowerment through community initiatives, including the dissemination of the experience of mutuality in the area of education and non formal, to strengthen and increase the membership of the organization. This article shall describe the proposed construction of a courtly reflection on the experience of the AMEC, for high school students.
