La mayoría de los jóvenes usa con frecuencia las redes sociales. Tuenti es la red social más usada por los jóvenes en España. La forma que tienen de expresarse en estos espacios dista bastante de lo normativo. La ortografía es uno de los aspectos del lenguaje juvenil que más variaciones sufre. En este artículo se analizan los intercambios comunicativos de una muestra de usuarios de la red Tuenti, con edades comprendidas entre los catorce y los dieciocho años. El estudio se centra en la ortografía reflejada en los tablones y comentarios de los usuarios y se analiza detalladamente el uso de vocales, consonantes y signos de puntuación en el cual se registran fenómenos como omisiones, reduplicaciones, sustituciones, simplificaciones ... Esto pone en evidencia que los jóvenes introducen cambios lingüísticos que les diferencian de otros grupos de edad. De este modo, se produce una desviación voluntaria de la norma, no por desconocimiento. Se trata sobre todo de una búsqueda de la adaptación de la ortografía a la pronunciación, entre otros factores.
Most young people use frequently the social networks. Tuenti is the social network most used by young people in Spain. In these spaces, they express themselves in a way that is so far from the linguistic norm. One of the aspects of the youth speed that change more is Orthography. This article analyzes the communicative exchanges writtten by a group of user of the social network Tuenti, with ages comprised between the fourteen and eighteen years. The study focuses on the Orthography reflected in the personal spaces and in the wall posts of the users and it analyzes in detail the use of vowels, consonants and signs of punctuation in which there are registered phenomeena like omissions, reduplications, substitutions, simplifications ... It demonstrates that young people introduce linguistic changes which differ from other groups of age. Thus, a voluntary diversion of the norm takes place, not for ignorance. It is a question especially of a search of the adjustment of the spelling to the pronunciation, among other factors.
