Para lograr el desarrollo sostenido de un país, se deben hacer cambios importantes en su proyecto de base. México, desde el siglo II, se ha sustentado de las regiones del altiplano y accesoriamente de las regiones montañosas y costeras. Esta fragmentación del territorio ha tenido consecuencias de carácter económico y social, en gran medida ocasionadas por la sobreexplotación de los recursos naturales del altiplano y el deterioro ambiental de las costas y las montañas. En este ensayo se propone que se integre la costa al altiplano en un proyecto nacional de desarrollo equilibrado y productivo que tenga como base la continuidad de los ecosistemas y el estado actual de la diversidad biológica.
To obtain the sustainable development of a country, important changes must be achieved in its base project. Mexico, since the second century, has been sustained from high platean's regions and, accessability, from mountainous and coast regions. This territory's fragmentation had negative economic and social consequences, most of them caused because of the exploitation of the high platean's natural resourses and the environmental damage in coasts and mountains. The purpose of this essay is to suggest the integration of the different regions in a national project of productive and equilibrare development, that has the continuity of the ecosystem and the biological diversity as a base.
