A partir de los inicios del S. XV (1402), y durante algo más de cincuenta años, comienzan los primeros asentamientos europeos en las Islas Canarias: núcleos mínimos basados en la polaridad militar y religiosa. Además de los incidentes de su fundación, generalmente negativos, intentamos averiguar la existencia de algunas constantes para aplicarlas en el único edifico hoy en pie: la Torre del conde de San Sebastián de La Gomera.
Ever since the XV century (1402) and for over fifty years, the first European Settlements on the Canary Islands were made, consisting of small nucleuses base don the military religious polarity. Besides the incidents of its foundation, which were generally featured as negative, we tried to investigate the existence of some parameters to bi applied to the only building that today stands tall: the Tower of Count San Sebastián de la Gomera.
