This work studies the relationship between working conditions and the quality-of-life conditions of the population in Mexico in 2022, for which the concepts of social com-petitiveness and social vulnerability are used, which in turn are calculated using techniques already defined by national organizations. The statistical analysis is carried out through a linear regression between both variables using state data for Mexico in 2022, where an inverse relationship between them has been found, which indicates that better working conditions generate a lower state of vulne-rability and with it a better quality of life. It is concluded that there are opportunity areas in the configuration of the country's public labor policy, since this research is empirical evidence that indicates that generating better working conditions directly and positively affects the well-being of the population
