    Uno de los servicios fundamentales para una ciudad es que exista una eficiente distribución urbana de mercancías que permita cubrir las necesidades de sus ciudadanos y negocios. A este servicio se le denomina logística urbana de última milla. Un enfoque poco estudiado, y que este trabajo se ha marcado como objetivo prioritario, es determinar cómo esta logística está fuertemente relacionada con algunos factores económicos relevantes para las empresas que realizan este servicio, las autoridades públicas que lo regulan, y los ciudadanos que deben convivir con ella.

    One of the fundamental services for a city is the existence of an efficient urban goods distribution system that meets the needs of its citizens and businesses. This service is known as last-mile urban logistics. A little-studied approach, which this study has set as a priority objective, is to determine how this logistics system is closely linked to certain economic factors relevant to the companies providing this service, the public authorities that regulate it, and the citizens who must live with it
