Antoni Ferrando Francés: an intellectual, academic and civic career trajectory This paper offers an overview of the academic, research, and institutional trajectory of Antoni Ferrando Francés, a key figure in contemporary Catalan philology in the Valencian Country. It examines his scholarly contributions, as well as his role in the consolidation of a philological space shared between all Catalan-speaking lands and his involvement in processes of language standardization and normalization. The study highlights the evolution and coherence of an intellectual project that integrates research, institutional action and civic commitment in the service of language and culture.
Aquest treball ofereix una aproximació a la trajectòria acadèmica, investigadora i institucional d’Antoni Ferrando Francés, figura clau de la filologia catalana contemporània al País Valencià. S’hi analitzen les seues aportacions científiques, així com el seu paper en la configuració d’un espai filològic compartit i la seua implicació en els processos de normativització i normalització lingüística. El recorregut cronològic permet destacar la coherència d’un projecte intel·lectual que integra recerca, acció institucional i compromís cívic al servei de la llengua i la cultura.
