Antoni Ferrando and the history of Catalan literature in the 19th century (and the beginning of the 20th) The interest that, throughout his career, Antoni Ferrando has shown in Catalan literature of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is linked, in large part, to the activity of some of the most influential writers of the period, such as Teodor Llorente, Vicent Blasco Ibáñez and Lluís Fullana.
