At this juncture, it is imperative that we place scientific and technological research at the service of humanity; furthermore, an analysis of the links between ethics, epistemology, and the fundamental rights underlying such research can help protect human dignity by addressing the core rights that may be affected. It seems urgent that we stop ignoring the potential consequences of the uncritical use of artificial intelligence in order to assess its long-term impact.
En este momento sería ineludible la responsabilidad de poner a las investigaciones en ciencia y tecnología al servicio de la humanidad, y en ese sentido el análisis acerca de los vínculos entre la ética, la epistemología y los derechos fundamentales que subyacen a las investigaciones, pueden contribuir a proteger la dignidad humana desde el núcleo de los derechos que pudieran ser afectados. Dejar de ignorar el impacto que pueda provocar el uso acrítico de la inteligencia artificial para acercarnos a evaluar su impacto profundo parece urgente.
