Objetivo: identificar y analizar las actividades y conocimientos en la cocina de tlecuil de la casa de adobe de Metepec, Morelos durante los festejos de la Virgen de la Natividad y Días de Muertos. Metodología: es de tipo cualitativo. Se realizaron 29 entrevistas a habitantes de las viviendas seleccionadas, 25 semiestructuradas y 4 a profundidad; así como el levantamiento arquitectónico de 7 cocinas. Resultados: las expresiones inmateriales durante las conmemoraciones configuran un sistema de organización del espacio y utensilios, elaboración de alimentos y saberes ancestrales. Valor: describir que en las festividades se reafirman la identidad comunitaria, la articulación de representaciones típicas y la importancia del lugar en su desarrollo. Limitaciones: el estudio se circunscribe a una sola comunidad y dos fiestas. Conclusiones: las celebraciones tradicionales involucran el territorio, diversas dinámicas y técnicas constructivas.
To identify and analyze the activities and knowledge within the tlecuil kitchen of adobe houses in Metepec, Morelos, during the festivities of the Virgin of the Nativity and the Days of the Dead. Meth- odology: A qualitative approach was adopted, 29 interviews were conducted with residents of selected households, 25 semi-structured and 4 in-depth; along with architectural survey of 7 kitchens. Results:
The intangible expressions at these sites during the commemorations shape a system of spatial and utensil organization, food preparation, and ancestral knowledge. Value: To describe how communal identity, the articulation of traditional representations, and the importance of place in their development are reaffirmed through ceremonies. Limitations: The research is confined to a single locality and two ritual gatherings.
