The creation of a cultural podcast aimed at promoting coexistence and linguistic inclusion in Ecuador represents an innovative strategy to showcase the richness and diversity of Ecuadorian speech. Ecuador is a multicultural and multilingual country, where each region—Coast, Highlands, Amazon, and Galápagos—has its own unique expressions and idioms reflecting its identity and worldview. However, these linguistic differences can often lead to discrimination or stigmatization. To address this, the podcast is presented as an inclusive communication tool that, through storytelling, interviews, and sociolinguistic analysis, fosters appreciation and respect for diverse speech forms. By offering accessible and engaging content, the podcast encourages listeners to recognize linguistic diversity as a cultural asset, reinforcing social cohesion and a sense of national belonging. This initiative also has an educational purpose, targeting young people, teachers, and the general public interested in Ecuadorian popular language.
