An interview is conducted with teachers (3) from the Dr. Liborio Panchana Sotomayor General Hospital (Santa Elena Province-Ecuador) and a monthly survey (27 students) of the total number of patients during the year 2023. Among the main results, recreational activities were proposed that allowed adjusting to the rhythms and medical needs in hospitals and through the use of interactive technologies, effective experiences (attractive learning) were created for patients. In addition, by integrating game dynamics, participation and use of leisure time associated with the hospital environment was achieved. In conclusion, it is noted that these activities in the educational context of hospitalized students have proven to be an effective strategy to improve motivation, commitment and academic performance.
