The present experimental work carried out in the Miraflores enclosure evaluated and compared different feed treatments in order to obtain an optimal method in the growth stage of pigs, where the addition of a cereal (Afrecho de cerveza) and a protein concentrate with different percentages was implemented. During this experimental research, 12 pigs were used; 8 Landrace and 4 Pietrain. The growth phase was evaluated with an initial weight of 14 to 19 kg. This process lasted 56 days. A completely randomized design (CRD) was used. The prolonged feeding in this research topic was based on the feeding of four treatments: T0 balanced protein, T1 40% concentrate + 60% beer bran, T2 35% concentrate + 65% beer bran and T3 30% concentrate + 70% beer bran + water. In each cubicle there were three pigs, which were weighed from the day they arrived and then weekly to verify the weight results obtained during the whole feeding process. The variables analyzed were: weekly weight, feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion and cost benefit. The productive parameters used in the Tukey test p > 0.05 presented significant differences between the final weight treatments: T0=40 kg, T1=41kg, T2=42kg and T3=38kg.
