Artificial Insemination and heat synchronization have become essential tools to improve conception rates. The purpose of this article is to offer information on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GNRH) at the time of Artificial Insemination in crossbred cows in the tropics, to comply with this the study will be carried out with a group of crossbred cows that will undergo a protocol to finally be able to determine the pregnancy rate between the treatment with the use of GNRH and compare it with the control group. The research was carried out at the Babahoyo Technical University in the livestock herd of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The work was carried out with a population of 40 bovine units, with ages ranging between 5-10 years and a body condition (BC) of between 2.5 - 3.5. The treatment was applied a dose of 0.1 mg per animal of GnRH at the time of Artificial Insemination. After the last service, a period of 50 days was allowed to make the pregnancy diagnosis. The research results obtained were in Treatment with GnRH, statistically there is no significance in the study carried out, but mathematically it can be said that there is an increase in pregnancy using this hormone.
