The main objective of this research is to carry out a deep analysis on the autonomy of the indigenous jurisdiction, in order to determine the guidelines that are contemplated in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Organic Law of Jurisdictional Guarantees and Constitutional Control (LOGJCC) and the Organic Code of the Judicial Function (COFJ), since inaccuracies have been found in the sub-constitutional laws and jurisprudential regulations of the Constitutional Court, which undermines the autonomy of the indigenous jurisdiction in confrontation with what is established in the Constitution. In this context, it is intended to show whether the autonomy of the indigenous jurisdiction has been protected by the constitutional control organ, and whether the sub-constitutional laws harmoniously regulate the formal and material application of the guidelines of this special jurisdiction.
