El artículo abarca resultados de un estudio diagnóstico referente a las condiciones existentes en el contexto de estudiantes con discapacidad sensorial en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo (UTB), su contenido parte de una necesidad estructurar y operativa que incluye el empleo de tecnologías de aprendizaje y su consecuente aplicación a través de estrategias inclusivas, dirigidas a la capacitación y formación de profesionales proactivos, eficientes y productivos. El desarrollo de la actividad investigativa que fundamentó la escritura del presente demandó la utilización de métodos y técnicas derivadas de la investigación científica, así como de vías matemáticas y estadísticas para procesar y consecuentemente darle valor científico a los resultados empíricos obtenidos. La importancia de esta obra científica radica en el resultado diagnóstico alcanzado, el que devela las condiciones existentes en la UTB para direccionar el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los educandos objeto de estudio, así como en la creación de premisas dirigidas a promover el ingreso a estudiantes con discapacidad sensorial a través de estrategias de admisión y nivelación de la universidad. Entre los principales hallazgos encontrados aparece un diagnóstico exhaustivo de la realidad de la UTB acerca de la inclusión en el contexto educativo de estudiantes con la discapacidad antes reseñada, determinándose además estrategias idóneas para el logro de dicha finalidad. Arribándose a conclusiones que de tenerse en cuenta podrían fortalecer la atención a los estudiantes y otras personalidades discapacitadas en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo.
The article covers the results of a diagnostic study referring to the existing conditions in the context of students with sensory disabilities at the Technical University of Babahoyo, its content is based on a structural and operational need that includes the use of learning technologies and its consequent application to through inclusive strategies, aimed at training and training proactive, efficient and productive professionals. The development of the investigative activity that supported the writing of the present demanded the use of methods and techniques derived from scientific research, as well as mathematical and statistical ways to process and consequently give scientific value to the empirical results obtained. The importance of this scientific work lies in the diagnostic result achieved, which reveals the existing conditions in the UTB to direct the teaching-learning process of the students under study, as well as in the creation of premises aimed at promoting the admission of students. with sensory disabilities through college admissions and placement strategies. Among the main findings found is an exhaustive diagnosis of the reality of the UTB regarding the inclusion in the educational context of students with the aforementioned disability, also determining suitable strategies to achieve said purpose. Arriving at conclusions that if taken into account could strengthen better care for students and other disabled personalities at the Technical University of Babahoyo.
