La educación actual se enfrenta al reto de incorporar herramientas tecnológicas que promuevan el desarrollo de competencias propias del siglo XXI. En este contexto, el presente estudio aborda la problemática del bajo rendimiento en Lengua y Literatura en estudiantes de educación básica superior de la Unidad Educativa Nelson Vicente Izquierdo Naula. Frente a metodologías tradicionales poco efectivas, se propuso evaluar la efectividad de Educaplay como herramienta tecnológica para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. El objetivo fue determinar su influencia mediante un estudio cuasi-experimental con enfoque cuantitativo, aplicando pretest, post-test y encuestas a 120 estudiantes. Los resultados revelaron un aumento significativo en el desempeño académico tras la implementación de Educaplay: el 92,5% de los estudiantes alcanzó un nivel alto en habilidades lingüísticas frente al 10% previo. Además, se observó un incremento en el interés y motivación por la asignatura. Educaplay resultó ser una herramienta eficaz e innovadora que fortalece la enseñanza significativa y centrada en el estudiante.
Today's education system faces the challenge of incorporating technological tools that promote the development of 21st-century skills. In this context, this study addresses the problem of poor performance in Language and Literature among upper elementary school students at the Nelson Vicente Izquierdo Naula Educational Unit. In the face of ineffective traditional methodologies, the aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of Educaplay as a technological tool for improving the teaching-learning process. The objective was to determine its influence through a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach, applying pretests, posttests, and surveys to 120 students. The results revealed a significant increase in academic performance after the implementation of Educaplay: 92.5% of students achieved a high level of language skills, compared to 10% previously. Furthermore, an increase in interest and motivation for the subject was observed. Educaplay proved to be an effective and innovative tool that strengthens meaningful and student-centered teaching.
