Intellectual Capital (IC) is the main generator of value and competitiveness in companies of the knowledge era. However, the subjective nature, as well as the lack of consensus and restrictions in traditional accounting methods make it difficult to estimate the value of intangible assets (AI) that contribute to the value of companies. Therefore, in this research an IC measurement method was developed by using the Multiple Attribute Theory of Value (TVAM) and applying a census to listed companies in the telecommunications sector of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV). An applied type of research was carried out, with a mixed approach in three stages, a non-experimental research-action type, analyzing trends in longitudinal research. The main findings of this research allowed us to determine that 32% of the risk factors (RF) reported by the listed companies correspond to IC, whose attributes can be identified, classified, and measured to describe the behavior and evolution of IC on individual and collective performance over several accounting periods.
