This article examines the idea of creation in Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, situating it as the central axis of their thought. It analyzes how both the philosophical creation of concepts and the artistic creation of affects and percepts constitute processes that begin chaotically, giving rise to the need to establish, respectively, a plane of immanence and composition. It then identifies readings that neutralize its critical power in order to argue that the Deleuze-Guattarian act of creation is, in fact, a genetic process of active resistance against the prevailing figurations of common sense. Finally, it describes the configuration of the innovation paradigm, which empties creation of its disruptive power by transforming it into mere competition or into an attitude subsumed within entrepreneurial and business logic. Creation, thus, reveals itself as a critical act of rupture and political resistance.
