Este artigo examina a dicotomia teoria/prática na educação jurídica brasileira, desafiando a noção de que são domínios separados e argumentando por uma integração mais profunda entre eles. Além disso, este trabalho apresenta uma reflexão sobre como o ensino jurídico brasileiro e quais seriam as formas de enfrentar este problema. O artigo conclui que a verdadeira educação jurídica deve abraçar a indissociabilidade entre conhecer e fazer no Direito, desvelando assim as potenciais sinergias entre teoria e prática para a evolução da ciência jurídica e da prática social.
This article examines the theory/practice dichotomy in Brazilian legal education, challenging the notion that they are separate domains and arguing for a deeper integration between them. In addition, this work presents a reflection on how Brazilian legal education should be and what would be the ways to address this problem. The article concludes that true legal education must embrace the inseparability of knowing and doing in Law, thus revealing the potential synergies between theory and practice for the evolution of legal science and social practice.
