This research aimed to determine the number of calendar days involved in the appointment of judges who took the oath of office and officially assumed their positions within the Judiciary of the Province of Buenos Aires during 2023. Additionally, it sought to identify the number of magistrates who ceased their duties during the same period. The purpose of this was to assess the procedure in its practical aspect, its responsiveness, quantify and describe the involvement of the parties concerned —the Judicial Council, the Executive Branch, the Senate, and the Judiciary—, identify the challenges, study the gap between "entrances" and "exits," and gather and systematize relevant data to address the problems identified.
