La Industria 4.0 está poniendo de manifiesto la discriminación existente entre ciertos colectivos, predominando el de las personas mayores que no termina de acomodarse a los cambios tecnológicos y que, paradójicamente, no cesa de aumentar. La apreciación social de la persona mayor ha empeorado provocando la promulgación de cierta normativa encauzada a su protección perviviendo, en concreto, en el ordenamiento sucesorio común herramientas que procuran flexibilizar el obsoleto sistema de legítimas favoreciendo el respeto a la voluntad del testador.
Industry 4.0 is highlighting the existing discrimination against certain groups, predominantly the elderly, who are struggling to adapt to technological changes and, paradoxically, whose numbers continue to grow. The social perception of the elderly has worsened, leading to the enactment of legislation aimed at their protection. Specifically, in the common inheritance law, tools persist that seek to make the outdated system of forced heirship more flexible, favoring respect for the testator’s wishes
