El tema se desarrolla en tres partes. En primer lugar se intenta contextualizar históricamente la justicia constitucional, luego, desde una perspectiva teórica, se caracteriza el modelo jurídico-político en el que se enmarca la justicia constitucional, en un tercer momento se hace una referencia crítica a la justicia constitucional del Ecuador dentro del marco de la independencia judicial, finalmente se recuerda los hechos propiciados por el gobierno del coronel Lucio Gutiérrez en relación a la justicia constitucional.
The topic is developed in three parts. First, an attempt is made to historically contextualize constitutional justice; then, from a theoretical perspective, the legal-political model within which constitutional justice is framed is characterized; third, a critical reference is made to the constitutional justice of Ecuador within the framework of judicial independence; finally, the events brought about by the government of Colonel Lucio Gutiérrez in relation to constitutional justice are recalled.
