    De ser adversarios en el siglo XIX a vecinos distantes durante gran parte del siglo XX, la relación entre Estados Unidos y México ha evolucionado en las últimas 3 décadas hasta convertirse en una sociedad estratégica. A lo largo de su historia, dicha relación ha estado marcada por una profunda interdependencia, pero también por fuertes asimetrías. Hoy, 2 siglos después, estos mismos factores pueden impulsar un cambio estructural en la relación bilateral.

    From being adversaries in the 19th century to distant neighbors for much of the 20th century, the relationship between Mexico and the United States has evolved over the past 3 decades into a strategic partnership. Throughout its history, this relationship has been marked by a deep interdependence, but also by strong asymmetries. Today, 2 centuries later, these same factors may drive a structural change in the bilateral relationship.
