    Aunque Chile no es prioritario para el nuevo gobierno de Donald Trump, hay temas que podrían despertar su interés, como su potencial minero o la posibilidad de ser un contrapeso a la presencia china en países vecinos. No obstante, más allá de las posibles coincidencias, el desarrollo de medidas proteccionistas o contrarias al ordenamiento internacional por parte del Presidente estadounidense no tendría respaldo en Chile.

    Although Chile is not a priority for the new administration of Donald Trump, there are issues that could arouse his interest, such as its projection towards the region and the possibility of being a counterweight to the Chinese presence in neighboring countries. However, beyond possible affinities, the development of protectionist or contrary measures to the international order by the U.S. President would not have support in Chile.
