There is nothing nobler than the making of peace, nothing more honorable than the work necessary to bring peace about. There is a path forward away from war, and the dangers of an even more catastrophic nuclear war. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization has proved its military might, durability, necessity, and lasting power. Let it now demonstrate the truest mark of strength:
