This paper examines the contemporary challenge of teaching philosophy from the age of five as a transformative axis of the Philosophy of Educa-tion. It argues that early philosophy instruction is not about transmitting abstract content, but rather aboutdeveloping fundamental capacities for critical thinking, reflection, and the autonomous construction of meaning. Teaching philosophy involves cultivating in children a willingness to question, to be amazed, and to proble-matize the world. The paper concludes that teaching philosophy from the age of five constitutes a fruitful pedagogical and anthropological path for holistic deve-lopment, based on dialogue, play, art, and the reflective use of language, and that it requires the collaboration of teachers, families, and institutions to consolidate itself as a transformative educational practice.
